Players with a higher Woodcutting level can chop down new types of trees and cut down trees quicker. As levels increase, players can use better axes to chop trees faster.

Woodcutting is a useful skill for low-level players to make money early in the game. Cutting Mahogany logs is generally the most profitable woodcutting activity.

At 92 Woodcutting, players can use the bank deposit box at the woodcutting skilling teleport.

Players have a chance to receive the beaver woodcutting pet while chopping any tree.

If you want to start training the Woodcutting Skill, you will need an axe to cut the trees. You can purchase an iron and rune axe from the ::shops teleport. While other metal axes can be obtained from NPC's, doing so is a waste of time for regular players. Ironmen can only purchase a bronze axe from ::shops.
