Zombie Minigame
The Zombie Survival Minigame is a minigame that is first unlocked in The Last Journey Quest. In the quest, you are tasked with surviving 12 waves and defeating the Zombie Champion. After the quest has been completed, there are 3 different game modes to play: Survival, Deathmatch, and Endless. The goal is to survive as long as you can throughout the waves of Zombies. This minigame can be played solo or with a group of up to 4 players. This is a safe Minigame. Hardcore Ironmen will not lose their status on death.
There are 5 different kinds of Zombies that can appear throughout the waves.

Game Modes & Rewards
After the completion fo the quest, there are 3 different game modes that can be played. Players are rewarded with Coins and PkHonor Points for reaching a certain wave. The formulas used to calculate the rewards are as follows:
Players who complete the entire Survival and Deathmatch Modes will receive the following rewards.
Game Mode | Waves | Reward for Completion |
---|---|---|
Quest | 12 | 100M + 120 PkHonor Points |
Survival | 20 | 250M + 300 PkHonor Points |
Deathmatch | 30 | 350M + 400 PkHonor Points |
Endless | Endless | There is no End… |
Unlocks
Players can spend their KC points on two different things. There are 4 cannons that can be unlocked for 150 kills each. These cannons have unlimited ammo and do not carry over between games. There is also a fountain of heroes that will restore your Prayer and Hitpoints costing 25 kills each time.
Strategy & Recommended Gear Setups
The Zombies that use Melee are the most common and hardest hitting, especially in the later rounds once the Zombie Elites start to appear. Pray Protect/Deflect from Melee in the early rounds. Prioritize killing the Zombie Mages, then Zombie Throwers, then Zombie Melee attackers. In the later rounds, it may be necessary to pray Piety/Turmoil in order to sustain your hitpoints at a high enough level.
Unlock the cannons as soon as possible. These will shred through the hoards of Zombies. Spend the remaining points on drinking from the Fountain of Heroes as necessary.
Any of the three combat styles can be used in this minigame. Melee is generally considered the best due to the high damage output. Magic and Ranged can also be used here with Barrage Spells or Chinchompas.
Useful Items
The one piece of equipment that is almost necessary is a Salve Amulet (e). The increased damage and passive soulsplit effect on undead creatures will help you quickly kill the Zombies and recover your Hitpoints while doing so.
Item | Notes | |
---|---|---|
Salve Amulet (e) | +15% Bonus to Accuracy and Max Hit against undead NPCs. Heals you for 20% of damage dealt. +20 Prayer Bonus. | |
God Halos | +30 Prayer Bonus | |
Elysian Spirit Shield | 70% chance to block 25% of incoming damage. This equates to blocking an average of 17.5% of all incoming damage. | |
