minigames:inferno

The Inferno is considered a safe minigame on PkHonor. Players will not lose their items or Hardcore statuses on death.

The Inferno

The Inferno is a solo minigame in which the player must survive 69 increasingly challenging waves, ultimately killing the level 1400 TzKal-Zuk. If defeated, the player has to restart from the first wave. (premium players or players with a Zuk pet may pay tokkul to skip.) A spiritual successor to the TzHaar Fight Caves, the Inferno was dubbed the greatest solo PVM challenge to date upon release.

In order to access the Inferno, players must give TzHaar-Ket-Keh a fire cape. This is a one-time fee, so after giving a fire cape to him, TzHaar-Ket-Keh will allow players to enter as much as they want.

Location

The Inferno can be reached by using the minigames teleport. The entrance is the large red portal or the NPC.

Bosses

The Inferno is similar in nature to the Fight Caves, you fight waves of enemies that gradually get more difficult, ending in a final boss fight (which will still have some weaker enemy spawns at the same time.)

There are stronger versions of the Jad from the original Fight Caves, known as the JalTok-Jad, which could be seen as bosses. In one wave, 68, of The Inferno, you will have to fight three JalTok-Jad's at the same time. The final boss is “TzRek-Zuk”, level 1400.

General Mechanics

  • If players die within the inferno, they are placed outside the fighting area, and must restart either from the beginning, or the tokkul skip wave.
  • Hardcore Ironman Mode players will not lose their status when dying in the Inferno, it is therefore a safe activity.
  • Players WILL NOT get any Tokkul back from failed attempts

Final Boss

On the 69th and final wave, TzKal-Zuk will break free from the northern wall. Floating in the lava and moving back and forth between it and the player is a small piece of the wall, which must be utilised as a shield to protect from TzKal-Zuk's attacks. If it attacks the player, it cannot be protected against and it has an extremely high max hit of 251, which has a high chance of killing even a fully healed player. TzKal-Zuk cannot be reached with melee and it has 1200 Hitpoints.

Throughout this fight, other monsters spawn periodically and on cues. Jal-Xil and Jal-Zek will regularly spawn behind the player, attacking the shield until they are attacked, whereupon they retaliate. When TzKal-Zuk is below 480 Hitpoints, a JalTok-Jad will spawn behind the player, similarly attacking the shield. When TzKal-Zuk is below 240 Hitpoints, four Jal-MejJaks are spawned, rapidly healing it. When they are attacked, they stop healing and attack the player with area-of-effect blasts.
