Nex Gear

There are 3 sets of armour that are dropped by Nex. These sets are commonly referred to as Nex Gear. They provide some of the best offensive, defensive, and prayer bonuses in the game. Wearing a full set will provide 10% increase accuracy in the respective attack style.

  • Torva - Melee
  • Pernix - Ranged
  • Virtus - Magic

All Nex gear has a system of charges. Charges can be added to an item at an armour repair stand in a Player-Owned House, requiring 99 smithing and 99 crafting, as well as an Ancient Repair Kit (which is similar to the Chaotic Equipment Repair Kit). 4000 Charges can be added to a single piece using one Ancient Repair Kit.

An item with 40,000 charges will last a total of 30 hours. Once an item is out of charges, it will be unequipped and placed in the players inventory.

If an item is risked on death, all charges will be lost and the item will drop to the ground.
