The Clue Scroll Guide
Clue scrolls, also known as Treasure Trails, contain clues and riddles that a player must solve to eventually find a reward casket. These clues may involve combat and/or venturing into the wilderness. There are five tiers of treasure trails on PkHonor.
After the 06-JUN-2021 Update, Clues are no longer lost on death. Ultimate Ironmen will be able to leave this item in their death pile.

Obtaining Clue Scrolls
PvM Sources
PvM is one of the main sources of clue scrolls in-game. Any NPC with a combat level of 70 or more has a chance of dropping a clue scroll on death. For fast clues, it is recommended to Barrage/Chin and/or Cannon if possible. Unlocking the Treasure Hunter Slayer Perk will increase the clue scroll drop rate when on a Slayer Task. Almost all Monsters that drop Elite Clues also drop Hard Clues.

Skilling Clues
Whenever you are Fishing, Woodcutting or Mining, there is a chance to obtain a Bottle, Nest or Geode respectively. The tier is decided at random and the type of fish, tree, or rock has no influence on whether you get an easy, medium, hard, or elite clue. The level requirement and your Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining level do however influence how often you will get a skilling clue. You can only have 1 of each tier of each type (so you can have up to 12 skilling clues at any given time). Clues obtained from these sources will never have combat steps.
When opening a bottle, nest, or geode, you are guaranteed to receive 1 clue scroll of the same tier. You can only open a bottle, nest, or geode if you do not already own a clue scroll of the same tier. There is also a small chance to get a special item when opening a bottle, nest, or geode.

Implings
Certain Implings will give easy or medium clue scrolls when caught barehanded. Opening Impling Jars will not have a chance at getting clues. Check the official PkHonor Drops page for the drop rates from each impling.

PvP Sources
Elite Clue Scrolls can be obtained from PvP. You must be ranked first or second on either the 7 day or 3 hour leaderboard for a chance at receiving an Elite clue scroll when you kill your opponent. This is one of, if not the best way to obtain Elite clue scrolls. The chance is higher if your opponent is your Bounty Hunter Target.
Note: To receive Elite clue scrolls from PvP you need to complete the Wilderness Achievement Diaries.
Master Clue Scrolls
Master Clue Scrolls can be obtained in two ways. In order to receive a master clue from Watson, the player must provide him with one Clue Scroll of each tier: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Elite. Watson can be found northwest of Varrock Square.
There is also a small chance to receive a Master Clue Scroll when completing a lower Tier Treasure Trail. This roll happens when the last step is completed and the casket appears in your inventory.

Scroll Boxes
Scroll boxes are a form of stackable clues. Players will receive Scroll boxes instead of regular clue drops once certain tiers of Combat Achievements have been completed.

Milestone Items
Upon completing 100 Treasure Trails of each Tier, there is an additional reward. These Rewards can be claimed by speaking to Falo the Bard. To get to Falo the Bard, go to your magic spellbook → Towns → #3 Seers' Village → After teleporting, then Run North, a little bit west, then north again. See the Path below.

Bloodhound Pet
The Bloodhound Pet can also be obtained while completing Treasure Trails. Every time you complete a clue step, you have a chance at receiving the Bloodhound pet. The chance will depend on the tier of the clue step you're completing:
- Easy - 1/5000
- Medium - 1/4250
- Hard - 1/3500
- Elite - 1/3000
- Master - 1/2500
Ironmen Additional Rewards
Ironmen can obtain additional items from clue scrolls such as custom whips, Ex-ex parrots, and Bounty Hunter Shop items. The Ironman drop rate is split up into tiers:
- For Elite and Master clue caskets you first have a 1 in 100 chance to hit the Third Age Druidic table.
- For Elite and Master clue caskets you have a 1 in 5 chance to hit the Elite Ironman-only items (with all the Mbox items, Donator items and of course the custom whips).
- For Hard clue caskets you have a 1 in 8 change to hit the special Hard droptable with the Rune pouch, Ring of Vigour, Ex ex parrot, etc.
If non of the above are hit, you get drops from the regular droptable. All items on the Ironmen drop table have an equal chance of being obtained.
Solving a Treasure Trail
When Solving a Hard or Elite Clue step, there is a chance of being attacked by a Double Agent. The Double Agent uses a Melee attack, so use Protect/Deflect from Melee. Skilling clues will not contain combat steps.
When solving a Master Clue step, there is a chance for two types of ambushes to occur. When digging in a Single-Combat Zone, a Brassican Mage may spawn. The Mage attacks with a typeless attack, so protection prayers will have no effect here. When digging in a Multi-Combat Zone, 3 Ancient Wizards may spawn. Each wizard uses a different attack style and can hit fairly high, requiring players to be prepared for a three-on-one fight. Skilling clues will not contain combat steps.
When completing an Elite or Master Treasure Trail, you'll have a 1/40 chance (Elite) or a 1/15 chance (Master) of obtaining a Mimic casket.
Items that are used for completing clue steps can be stored with the STASHer NPC northeast of Varrock Square. This service costs 400 PkHonor Points to unlock and is highly recommended for Ultimate Ironmen.
Coordinates
Coordinate Clues require digging at a specified location. Locations can be found using a sextant, watch, and chart through trial and error methods. Alternatively, use the guide below to go to the exact location and dig. When digging, there is a chance of being attacked by a Double Agent. Pray Melee and kill him to receive a clue. Skilling clues will not contain combat steps.

Arrow
When you receive the arrow clue, it will be pointing in a specific direction. You need to go in the direction that it is pointing. You know you are close to the spot when the arrow begins to turn white. Once it's a solid white colour and starts spinning around when you move just one spot, it means you are in the right location and need to dig. When digging, there is a chance of being attacked by a Double Agent. Pray Melee and kill him to receive a clue. Skilling clues will not contain combat steps. Wise Old Man / Estate Agent
These clues will tell you to talk to either the Wise Old Man or the Estate Agent while wearing an item. This is the list of all items you may need. The Wise Old Man is located in the center of Edgeville. The Estate Agent is located in Varrock Center, northwest of the fountain. Equip your required item and talk to the NPC to receive a new clue or casket.
