The Wilderness
The Wilderness, also known as the Wild or Wildy, is a large and dangerous wasteland that makes up most of north-eastern Gielinor.
Warning: The entirety of the Wilderness is a PvP area, except for the Ferox Enclave and Mage Arena bank. On PkHonor, the Corporeal Beast lair is not accessed through the wilderness. However, the King Black Dragon's lair is completely within the wilderness in a multicombat zone.
When a player is killed by another player, all unprotected items will be lost to the killer. Hardcore ironmen will lose their status if they die to a player or NPC, just like they would in the event of any other unsafe death.
Two players or multiple players (within multi-combat zone) may fight if their combat levels are within a certain range of each other, increasing the deeper into the Wilderness they go. This, along with very high level monsters and bosses, makes the Wilderness one of the most dangerous places in the game.
The area has its own set of achievement diaries, the Wilderness Achievement Diary with tasks relating to the Wilderness and its surrounding area.
Bosses and NPCs
The Wilderness is home to many bosses and NPCs. The full list of bosses can be found on the PvM Guides page. Additionally, green dragons, spiders, giant rats, and other random NPCs can be found throughout the wilderness. The Wildywyrm and Lost Souls can be found in many places throughout the wilderness.
Skilling
There are several skilling locations throughout the wilderness, though most are not relevant on PkHonor. Some main points of interest include:
- Wilderness Resource Area
- Dark Crab Fishing locations
- The Rogue's Chest
- Black Chinchompas
- Black Salamanders
Teleports
There are many different methods of teleportation that can bring you into and out of the wilderness. The spellbooks have teleports to several locations, including:
- Edgeville
- Green Dragons
- Black Chinchompas
- Mage Bank
- Deep Wilderness Agility Arena
- Ferox Enclave
- King Black Dragon
The wilderness can also be entered from several locations throughout the world, including:
- Edgeville Lever
- Ardougne Lever
- Godwars shortcut
- Trollheim shortcut
- The Wilderness Ditch
There are also many items that provide teleports into the wilderness, including:
- The Burning Amulet
- Teleport Tablets from Last Man Standing
